Rome 2020: the numbers of the economic compatibility dossier

Announced today within the conference ‘Rome 2020: values and opinions’, the economic compatibility document drawn up by "Fortis Commission" and the ISPO survey by Renato Mannheimer about Rome application to Olympic Games of 2020: GDP growth amounted to € 17.7 billion in the period 2012-2025, i.e. an increase of 1, 4% of national GDP (3.9% in the Centre, 1% in the South, 0,5% in the North) and the national employment growth equal to 0.7% (2.2% in Central, South and 0.5% to 0.2% in the North).
Here are some of the findings from the report of the economic compatibility commission, chaired by Marco Fortis, submitted to Prime Minister Mario Monti.
The Honorary President of the Application Promoting Committee, Gianni Letta, said that it will be discussed at the Parliament, before February 15, "with the same text and same day", the support motion for the Olympic Games and that the green light to the Government written commitment will be attached to the olympic application form ansmwers sent to the IOC.
Risorse RpR will act as Technical Advisor of the Promoting Committee for the Candidacy of Rome to XXXII Olympic Giochi and XVI Paralympic of 2020, regarding the following matters.
